Spread awareness of the critically endangered ʻakekeʻe + show your support for Hawaiian honeycreeper protection with this durable enamel pin.

ʻAkekeʻe are a critically endangered Hawaiian honeycreeper. They are endemic to the forests of Kauaʻi, restricted to high-elevation areas. Their assymetrical bill allows them to extract insects that live within ʻōhiʻa leaves and flower buds. ʻAkekeʻe are known to sing a high pitched trill or “whisper song” that can be heard especially during foggy weather.
