The ʻiʻiwi is an iconic Hawaiian honeycreeper. The nuku (bill) is perfectly shaped for pollinating many native Hawaiian plants. ʻIʻiwi populations have been declining throught the Hawaiian Islands due to the spread of avian malaria, a disease that is spread by invasive mosquitoes. Just a single mosquito bite can be fatal for an ʻiʻiwi. Conservationists are working quickly to protect ʻiʻiwi and other forest birds from avian malaria and other threats, such as introduced predators and habitat loss.

10% of proceeds supports Native Hawaiian flora and fauna conservation.
