I have been fascinated by the beauty and uniqueness of the Hawaiian Honeycreepers, knowing that I may never see one in my lifetime. The art and detail are fantastic and I can feel the care put into the blanket. I hope that the efforts to conserve the species of Honeycreepers that are still in existence prove successful in the coming years, so that maybe one day Ill be able to see one of the birds on Maui or the Big Island when I visit.

I absolutely love this blanket!! I purchased this as a christmas gift for my sister who is a Volcanologist in Hawaii. My only hang up is that I had to fix the weave on one spot in the blanket. Whoever was the carrier completely destroyed my package in transit to the point where the entire packaging was ripped open and there was nothing left of the wrapping the blanket essentially was just exposed and left in my mailbox.
