Koali ‘awa (Ipomoea indica) is an indigenous vine with vibrant purple to blue flowers that change colors throughout the day. Found from low- to mid-elevation in a variety of habitats, koali ʻawa mostly prefers dry climates. Historically, different parts of the plant have been used medicinally.
